The Turtle Head Peak Scramble will wind up the
trail to one of the most prominent peaks in Red
Rock National Park. It will be grueling for those who
race it, and a nice workout for those who decide to
just hike it. We will be meeting in the parking lot at
10AM, and will commence up the trail towards the
peak for about 2/3 mile to where the start is. The
race is two miles long, to the top of the peak. The
top is the finish line. We will be carefully making our
way back down. (Race will be 45 minutes to an
hour)
We welcome all Serious Competitors, as well as
those who just want to "make it to the top." All of
you boot campers can make it up the trail, it is up to
you how hard you want to push.
The trail will be marked, and score-keepers and
spotters will be along the trail. Get ready for some
SERIOUS fun!!!!
